It all started in 1983, when after many years working in our own hairdresser in Luleå (Sweden), both owners, Ann-Katrin and Amador, decided to move to the Costa del Sol to continue working as hairdressers. We chose Fuengirola because of the rise of the foreign and especially Scandinavian community in this city, in addition to its fantastic location, between two major cities, Malaga and Marbella. After buying the store and building our hairdresser in the Las Rampas shopping center, Hair Gallery was inaugurated on October 22, 1984. It was the first Swedish hairdresser on the Costa del Sol and our portfolio of clients both nationally and internationally increased rapidly. During these years, great hairdressing professionals from Sweden have worked with us and we have had the best suppliers of products from brands such as Wella and Schwarzkopf. Hair Gallery has always been a barber shop for men and women with a national and international clientele, dominated by customers from Nordic countries, Germany, England and Ireland. Opening hours are not set by the mall, but are freely established by the business owner. We have celebrated our 10, 20 and 30 anniversary, always with great publicity and media coverage. In addition, we have physical advertising on public roads, both in the main avenue and in parallel streets, a perfect mechanism for attracting new customers constantly. Hair Gallery has had several renovations over the years to preserve its modern and cozy style. Its location is fantastic.
